Total Veterinary Appointments Booked

Practices using Vetstoria booked 282,081 vet appointments through the platform in March 2021 – that’s over 23,000 hours saved for our industry colleagues that can be spent focusing on what really matters – delivering the best pet care! When compared with the appointments booked in February, we saw an increase of 42,055 appointments in March!

Number of New Clients Acquired

In February, veterinary practices using Vetstoria acquired 34,707 new pet-owner clients who booked their first appointments online. Nevertheless, we have seen an increase in new clients acquired within March. By the end of the month, our customers had acquired 42,398 new clients, which also means 42,398 additional new appointments that may not have been booked if not for Vetstoria, boosting revenue for our happy users.

Hours of Animal Care Provided

103,523 🐱

Our results show that in March, veterinary practices using Vetstoria spent over 103,523 meaningful hours doing what matters most – providing quality care to pets. These hours are the total for the 282,081 appointments mentioned earlier based on appointment durations. What delights us more is learning that we helped our clients provide 16,274 more hours of pet care than in February.

Appointments Booked Outside of Practice Hours

116,557 ⏲️

Out of the total appointments booked in March, 116,557 of them were booked outside of practice hours. With the increase of out of hour appointments we see in March compared to them in February, we clearly see that the pet owners really like booking appointments in their own time.

Vaccinations – 119,447 💉

Castrations – 2,646 🐾

For cats – 78,404 🐱

For dogs – 194,699 🐶

Veterinary practices using Vetstoria further improved access to pet care in March! We saw 194,699 appointments booked for dogs, which is over 30,000 more than in February. There were 78,404 for cats, and that is 9,359 more appointments for cats than last month. Furthermore, we saw 119,447 appointments for vaccinations and 2,646 for castrations which also showed an increase.

Different Species Helped

Through Vetstoria, veterinary practices accepted bookings for 24 different species of animal. From cats and dogs to horses, birds, and snakes, we saw hundreds of unique appointment types treated across multiple species – this just shows how customizable and versatile Vetstoria is.
